When one year comes to the end I like to mark the new year with a release. 2017 wasn't a year where I released music, it was a year of figuring out my musical life and how it makes sense with the rest of life, or really how the rest of my life fits together with my musical life.

Family Friends Strangers represents three songs that I wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered. I had a huge help from the ears of Francis Kimberly, teaching and guiding me with mastering, as he has with mixing over the ten years I've known him.

Family Friends Strangers are songs and stories that I hope will get you feeling something. I'm proud of them. They are hopeful and maybe will make you feel hopeful for just a moment.

It's been two years since All Good Demons, so let's get on with something new.
